This event would not be possible without the amazing Dirksen community! Our volunteers and families are what make Trunk or Treat such a fun and memorable experience for our kids. We truly appreciate everyone who helps by decorating a trunk, donating treats, or volunteering their time.

1. Vehicle Decorating
We’re hoping to have 25–30 decorated trunks this year!
When signing up, please include your name and trunk theme so we can help avoid duplicate themes.
Each decorated vehicle should plan to bring candy to hand out. We will have extra candy available as needed.
Set-Up: Decorators may begin setting up at 4:00 PM. Parking spots will be assigned as you arrive.
2. Donations
Help us make sure our trunks are stocked with plenty of treats!
You can donate by:
Bringing in bags of individually wrapped candy
Making a cash donation through our online donation link HERE.
Candy donations may be dropped off at the Dirksen School Office by Friday, October 23rd.
3. Station Volunteers
In addition to Trunk or Treat, we’ll have fun activities for the kids, including mini-pumpkin decorating and a scavenger hunt!
We’re looking for two volunteers to help run the activities, assist students, and keep things moving throughout the evening.
