This Wednesday, we celebrated World Kindness Day. Each student decorated a leaf showing ways they can be kind. The leaves have been brought together on our kindness tree in our front hallway (pictured). It has been great to see students stopping in the morning to find their leaf or read other ways to be kind.

As a reminder, Friday 11/8 marked the end of the first Trimester. The end of each trimester is a great time to pause and reflect on all that has happened. We recognize the importance of celebrating the victories, even the small ones. Students have so much to be proud of, and we love to hear their celebrations. Take some time this week to talk with your child about this past trimester. Feel free to use some of these questions in your conversation:

  • What are you most proud of this trimester?
  • How are you different now than you were in August?
  • What is one thing you are excited about coming up in the second trimester?
  • How can I, as your family member help you be successful?

We look forward to seeing all of our families the week of conferences, 11/25 and 11/26. If you have not scheduled your conference yet please see the directions below on how to do so.

Have a great weekend!
