Dirksen’s Field Day will be a 2 hour 10 minute event for each grade level. The day is about celebrating students’ hard work all school year, showing good sportsmanship, and having fun at a variety of activities. 

Each grade has a color to represent their team.

Team Colors 

Kindergarten: Red, 1st Grade: Pink, 2nd Grade: Yellow, 3rd Grade: Green, 4th Grade: Purple  5th Grade: Orange, 6th Grade: Blue 

*4th,5th, 6th, Robie, Vargas, and Troiola. grades Field Day is from 8:45-10:55. 

*Kinder, 1st, 2nd, Reilly and 3rd grade Field Day is from 12:35-2:45. 

Student reminders for the big day: 

• Wear gym shoes 
• Wear sunscreen to school. All stations are outdoors. 
• Wear your grade level color or Dirksen spirit wear. 
• Dress appropriate for the weather. Hats are allowed. Some stations include water games. ● Bring a water bottle with the student’s name and room number. 
• Bring an extra set of clothes including shoes and socks or other footwear. 
• Wear a smile and be ready to HAVE FUN!

Parents and family members, please join us on this fun day to help at outdoor activity stations. Please note, you are volunteering to support many classrooms and not just your students room.
